Thierry Allemand Tasting

Join us for a special, focused tasting of Thierry Allemand. Thierry Allemand founded his domaine in Cornas in 1982. Thierry farms his vineyards all by hand (without the assistance of even a tractor), using organic methods. His domaine is made up of two separate parcels Chaillot and Reynard that he vinifies separately. Brutta Residency at Soif
We are thrilled to host Chef Amelia Telč for a temporary residency of her Brutta pop-up at Soif! Starting Friday June 30th, Brutta will be providing a menu inspired by European bistro fare from 5pm to 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursday through Saturday. Brutta will also be offering a special brunch service on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm (starting Saturday July 8th). We are not taking reservations. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Celebrate the coming summer solstice with Chef Tim Eelman & the team of The Village, Big Sur at Soif Wine Merchant in Santa Cruz. This festive five course dinner features fresh seasonal ingredients sourced from Big Sur and surrounding landscapes of the greater Central Coast. Join us Wednesday May 10th as we taste through the wines from Es Okay! Es Okay wines come from winemaker/viticulturist Mike Lucia of Rootdown Cellars. Mike began his winemaking career in the ‘90s, as a teenager working in a cellar. Pelayo Cider Tasting
$20 for the general public, $10 for Soif wine club members
Join us Thursday April 20th as we taste through a selection of ciders! Local cidermaker Anthony Copriviza will be pouring two of his Pelayo Ciders, alongside two additional ciders from different cider houses, from 5pm to 7pm. The Pelayo ciders are made from apples that are handpicked each fall from an over 100+ year old family orchard in the Pajaro Valley. They are made using traditional Asturian techniques.The cost of the tasting will be $20 for the general public, $10 for Soif wine club member

Madson and Samuel Louis Smith Wines Tasting!

We are thrilled to welcome Cole Thomas (Madson Wines) and Sam Smith (Samuel Louis Smith Wines) to Soif! Cole and Sam will be pouring a selection of 4 of each of their wines from 3pm to 6pm, Saturday April 15th on the Soif Patio (atmospheric river permitting). Outward Wines Tasting

We are thrilled to have Outward Wines join us for a tasting on Thursday, April 13th! Outward is a partnership between husband and wife team Natalie Siddique and Ryan Pace. Based in San Luis Obispo, Natalie and Ryan work with grapes coming from different regions throughout the central coast. We will be pouring a selection of wines from them that will be listed here shortly. The cost of the tasting will be $25 for the public, $10 for Soif wine club members. We hope to see you there!

Joyce Wine Co. Tasting
Join us Thursday April 6th as we taste through a selection of wines from Joyce! Joyce Wine Co. began in 1986 when 4 acres of vines were planted behind the family home. Now winemaker/owner Russell Joyce was just a kid then, and grew up learning all stages of the winemaking process from tending to the vines, to racking, to hand labeling bottles. Since then he winery has grown, working with numerous varieties around the central coast. Join us as we taste through the following wines:2022 Joyce Arroy
